Our studio offers classes for children and adults from beginners through advanced. Our staff is made up of professionals who have years of teaching experience. CLASSES
Attendance & Absence - Students are expected to attend all of their classes we appreciate being notified by phone if a student will be absent from class. Frequent absences may result in a student being removed from a class. Making up classes must be done within the registered semester. (See Tuition & Payment Policies)Performance - An annual Showcase named Defilé (day-fee-Lay) held at the end of Spring Session involves all classes. This show gives the students, parents and public an opportunity to observe the total curriculum. Students are encouraged but not required to participate. Production fees are due at time of Spring Registration.
Through the year students of all levels can participate with our Performing Groups by enrolling in a Performance Practice Class. Students in our Performing Groups are required to be enrolled in at least 2 additional classes per week.
Dress Code - ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE HAIR SECURED, UP AND AWAY FROM FACE AND NECK AT ALL TIMES. BALLET STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A BUN FOR BALLET CLASS. Dress codes are established to promote learning and unity within a class. All students will be required to wear proper dance attire. Our in studio dancewear store, Spotlight Bodywear, carries a full line of clothing, tights and dance shoes.
Level Advancement - Students do not automatically advance to the next level (Exception: Pre School Program through Fourth Grade). Although students may have mastered certain steps or combinations, our goal is to ensure the technique and strength used in performing these steps are mastered before the student is strong enough to meet the demands of the next level of the curriculum. Additionally, regular attendance in classes will have an impact on a student’s progression to the next level. We have a graded curriculum starting at Level 1 and progressing through Level 7. Auditions are not required, however a placement class may be required to determine an appropriate level for a new student. Final decisions on level placement are at the discretion of the teaching staff and director.

ALL PRICES QUOTED IN THE SCHEDULE ARE FOR THE FULL 16 WEEK SESSION
Discounts
• Individual taking more than one class per week
OR family members (immediate family only) 10%
• Carte Blanche $998.00 unlimited classes for
individual student.
• Family Carte Blanche $2,000.00 unlimited classes
for immediate family only.
Students registering for any of the above special rates must list all classes they intend to take on their registration form. Carte Blanche or Family Carte Blanche does NOT include Special Workshops, Master Classes, Production or Costume Fees. *This special price cannot be further discounted!
Payment Policy - Those paying in full prior to and including first day of session are NOT subject to the office fee. Those registering after February 5, 2010 or those on the Payment Plan pay a $10.00 office fee. At time of registration 50% of the tuition is due. Balances are due 8th week of the semester or you will be subject to late fees. PLEASE remember that there are absolutely NO REFUNDS unless a class is cancelled by the studio.
Class Changes and Additions - If you wish to make a change in your schedule, please go to the office. Instructor approval is needed before any changes in level or additions are made. There will be a $5.00 change of class fee charged for changes made after the third week.
