Virtual Class Schedule

Westside Studio of Performing Arts is offering virtual online classes starting Tuesday, April 7th! With our new online class schedule, you can take your classes anywhere with Westside Studio Faculty.

We are all hoping to get back in the studio May 4th, but until then we will be offering all of our classes online. These online classes will be technique classes more like a fall semester class. We will get Défilé choreography out via email for the dancers to practice on their own as soon as we can.

Each of these classes will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays are 40 minutes long and taught over Zoom.

Here’s how it works:

View our online class schedule to determine when your classes are being held.

DOWNLOAD ZOOM

Download zoom for mobile or desktop prior to your first class. You do not need to create a Zoom login (meaning you do not need to create an account). We recommend using a laptop, computer or iPad. Phone screens may be too small.

WATCH YOUR INBOX

You will receive an email an hour before class time begins the day of your class, including a direct link to join!

More Information:

• Please download Zoom for either your mobile device or desktop prior to the start of your first class.  You do not need to create a Zoom login or account to take our classes.
• Watch your inbox for your unique class link within 1 hour of the class start time.  For the safety of our classes please do not post online or share with others! 
• Please arrive via Zoom a few minutes early.  A Westside staff member will be present to help with any technical difficulties prior to the start of class.

FAQS:

How do I join the class?

Within an hour of the start of class, you will receive an email with a personalized link to enter the class waiting room. At the start of class, you will be added to the virtual class via Zoom where you’ll see the teacher, as well as other members of the class

Will the teacher be able to see me?

This is up to you! If you’d like to be seen by the teacher, you can enable your camera during the class. If you’d rather stay off-camera, you are more than welcome to do so.
